Water.IO to be Keynote Speaker at Plastic Caps & Closures

Water.IO, the IoT smart packaging company, announced today that it will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Plastic Caps & Closures show, taking place in Barcelona, November 9-10, 2016.

At the event, Yoav Hoshen, Co-founder and SVP of Business Development at Water.IO will discuss “How Big Data and Internet of Things can make packages and products smarter.” The event brings together caps producers with brand owners, providing them with a forum for dialogue that helps build a lasting relationship between supplier and customer. The 2016 conference will look at the latest innovations in caps, dispensers, dosing closures as the market demands more and more functionality.

The show will also explore how innovation in manufacturing and materials can deliver the cost and sustainability goals of the brand owners. Water.IO will display the world’s first Water.reminder smart clip-on cap for disposable water bottles. The innovative cap attaches to any standard disposable water bottle. A light flashes at regular intervals reminding the consumer to drink more. The caps, which are commercially available, are reusable and can be transferred from one bottle to another.
